How it works
-
1
Pick your metro and industries
Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston or San Antonio. Tell us the kinds of businesses you sell to: restaurants, salons, retail, auto, fitness and more.
-
2
We clean the state's new permits
Every week we pull the newest Texas sales-tax permits, remove duplicates and chains, and tag each business by industry and likely insurance need.
-
3
Your list lands Monday morning
An email digest plus a CSV/Excel file you can drop into your CRM. Call, visit or mail them while they're still setting up.
What's in every weekly list
Storefront-level permits, not just LLC paperwork. Each row is a physical business location with a real address and industry code.
Business name
The trade name on the permit, plus the legal entity behind it.
Address
Street address, city, ZIP and county, so you can sort by territory.
Industry
Plain-English category plus the NAICS code: restaurant, nail salon, auto repair and so on.
Permit date
When the permit was issued, plus the first-sales date. "Opening soon" rows haven't opened yet.
Insurance-need tag
Restaurant, retail, salon, auto, liquor liability and more, with suggested coverages and a 1–5 fit score.
Smart flags
Chains, out-of-state owners, home-based and mailbox addresses are flagged so you skip the duds.
Straight talk: the state doesn't publish phone numbers or emails, so the list doesn't include them yet. For sole proprietors, the owner's name is included.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
From the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Every business that sells taxable goods or services from a Texas location must get a sales-tax permit, and the state publishes those permits as public open data. We pull the newest permits each week, clean them up and filter them for you.
How is this different from new-LLC lead lists?
LLC filings tell you someone formed a company, sometimes with no location at all. A sales-tax permit is tied to a physical outlet with a street address and an industry code, so you're looking at real storefronts getting ready to sell.
Which metros do you cover?
Austin (Travis, Williamson, Hays), Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. The Statewide plan covers every Texas county. Somewhere else in Texas? Pick "Other" on the form and tell us the counties.
How and when is it delivered?
Every Monday morning by email: a short digest of the week's best-fit businesses plus the full list as a CSV and Excel file, ready to import into your CRM or a Google Sheet.
How fresh are the leads?
The state refreshes its permit file weekly, and each Monday list covers the newest week of permits. Many businesses show up before their first day of sales. Those are marked "Opening soon".
Do the leads include phone numbers or emails?
Not yet. The state doesn't publish them. You get the business name, legal entity, address, industry and dates, plus the owner's name for sole proprietors. Contact enrichment is on the roadmap.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month to month with no contract. Cancel anytime and you won't be billed again. Founding members keep the $49 price for as long as they stay subscribed.
Is the free sample really free?
Yes. No credit card. You get 25 recent businesses from your metro so you can judge the quality yourself.
Anything I should know about using the leads?
The underlying data is public. You're responsible for following CAN-SPAM, TCPA and Do-Not-Call rules in your own outreach. Texas New-Business Radar is an independent service and isn't affiliated with the Texas Comptroller or any state agency.
